Weather for  Saturday, July 9th: partly cloudy and 80.

 

Weather should be beautiful. Should be in the 70s, mostly cloudy with a light breeze.

Looks like it will be busy at the market this week!

Tuckers Farm will be there with:
tomatoes
cucumbers (pickles, english, diva, and regular)
squash (zucchini and yellow summer)
sweet corn
eggplant
peppers (sweet and hot banana, jalopenos, green bell)

Rinckey Brothers Maple Syrup with locally harvested maple syrup

Dee's Bees with raw local honey

Bare Foot Turner with his wood bowls, walking sticks, and wood vases

Miss Penny the book lady with free used books for children and adults

The Polish Baker is bringing his usual baked goods (coffee cakes, semi-sweet rolls, and cookies)

Ida West Farm brought red & black raspberries, summer squash & zucchini and a lot of other produce last week. They should be bringing the same and more this week.

Acorn Hill Farm will be there with his usual and this week he'll have new potatoes, green and yellow beans, summer squashes, and pickles

Mom's in the Garden with herbs (canning dill, parsley, basil), red raspberries, beans (yellow, green, & purple), lettuces, chard, spinach, red Russian kale, and jams (including NEW black raspberry)

The following vendors have not confirmed but we expect them:

Sow Fresh Farm with Swiss chard, kale, corn, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, and other summer produce.

And, the ladies from Lambertville United Methodist Church (our host) will have free coffee, regular and decaf, and will have cold bottled water for a small price. They are also happy to talk with people about the church and are willing to give tours of the sanctuary.

LUMC is also setting up tables and chairs by the church entrance for shoppers who want to sit and visit, or just rest for a few minutes.

 

Should be a really nice day. Hope everyone can stop out to see the beginning of the summer produce.

Don't forget to bring your market shopper's loyalty card.
